Flower Recipe: Tulips + Wax

Initially, my plan was to launch more toward the beginning of spring, when tulips were blooming and in plethora at markets. But just because things don’t go as planned doesn’t mean I have to waste such a pretty and simple flower recipe.pink+tulips+and+wax+flower+2

For flower arrangements I tend to use vessels that aren’t “traditional” vases, and in this case it’s this white porcelain milk jug. I found it easier to place the tulips first, and then fill in with wax flower. Folding the tulips leaves in makes them look a bit tidier as well. I’m currently having a love affair with wax flowers, from the fresh piney scent to its versatility. Wax flower is typically sold in a large bundles, so you’ll probably have left over from this arrangement. Have fun filling other small vases with bunches of it!pink+tulips+and+wax+flowers+3
