Since most of these items have been sitting in my closet for (literally) years, I linked to the stores where I got them from (except the jean  jacket, Old Navy or Gap has you covered there). Nowadays, I usually opt for a dress or jeans and tee, mostly because they’re quick and relatively foolproof. I’m loving that jean jackets are having a nice resurgence, so I busted out my “vintage” Abercrombie and Fitch stand by, I’m pretty sure I’ve had this one since high school!

For awhile now, my closet has been in need of a serious purge. I have things that I haven’t touched in quite some time but haven’t gotten around to tackling the project. To be honest, it’s all a bit overwhelming. Lately, I’ve been really interested in the capsule wardrobe concept. But until I get around to fully committing to this idea, I’ll just keep practicing for a capsule with my fave basics.
