Over the last few years I’ve really come to love wearing vibrant red lipstick, especially the kind that has hours of staying power. While these are great for long lasting wear, they can be tricky to remove especially without staining your skin. I remember the first time I tried this lip paint on and went to wash it off with facial cleanser and water –That did not go well! I ended up with stained skin all around my mouth, lesson learned. Instead, Neutrogena Makeup Removing Cleansing Towelettes are the best way I’ve found to remove my red lipstick especially the harder to remove kind. Another bonus to doing it this way is if you just wanted to change your lip color, or you know, you just messed up your lip paint application (hey, it happens) you can remove it and not mess up the rest of your makeup. Otherwise, I’ll just throw on some lip balm after removing my lipstick since the wipes leave no residue.

Then there are those times when I am just way too tired to get up and wash my makeup off. When that is the case, I’ll use a makeup wipe to remove makeup. They are ultra soft (probably the softest brand I’ve tried) and I prefer this scent to some others. Remember when removing an entire face of makeup it’s important to gently wipe, always taking care around your eye area. You can find these at your local Walmart in the skincare section or online here! This post is sponsored by Neutrogena™, but all opinions are my own.

Wipe, wipe, wipe… I was only removing my lip color here so I used my index finger as a guide. Go over the area initially then pass over again a few more times. You’ll be surprised how much it takes off!
