How many times have you found yourself in a rut where you feel like you have nothing to wear? I’m sitting here raising my hand because I feel like it happens to me all.the.time. You know it, that nagging feeling that you need something new to wear out because either everyone’s already seen your outfits or nothing is looking right. Ugh, I hate when that happens! But yea, this was totally me last week. It dawned on me that I did NOT need a new trench coat (seriously) and that I was going to wear my favorite pieces with the plan of updating basics using fun accessories.
So, in all my sartorial annoyance, I pulled out my no frills white button up (this cut is my favorite), black denim (I live in these), and my trusty H&M trench coat that I’ve had forever (last seen here). Then I added some fun accessories (um, hi little furry bag!), and you now what? I felt pretty good about this look.. now go ahead and use your basics, and not be basic. xo
