Valentines Day Classroom Treats for Kids

There’s a meme I’ve seen a couple times that says “I’m not a Pinterest mom, I’m an Amazon Prime mom.” I think I fall somewhere in between the two, opting for something that looks really cute without having to put too much effort into it.

After falling down an Amazon rabbit hole one day, I came across these foam tic tac toe boards and couldn’t pass up on getting them to be part of my son’s classroom Valentine. We were already set on doing Dinosaur cards, but the great thing about these is that they can go with any themed card your child may like. Plus, they are a good alternative to doing a treat bag full of candy. I already had the Valentines Day lollipops so I ended up adding them to the envelopes with some washi tape. In retrospect a smaller lollipop may have been better since they wouldn’t be as heavy, but this still worked out nicely!

Once my son signed all his cards (which to be honest was the hardest part of this and took the better part of a day) I attached them to the unopened tic tac toe boards with a piece of looped scotch tape. Then, I attached the lollipop to the front of the envelope with a piece of washi tape. Finally, I wrapped the whole package together with some pink twine to finish it off and to really make sure everything stayed together.
