When the Tequila Runs Out…

We’ll be sipping Champagne… Does anyone else love this Dawes’ song? and did someone say cocktail competition? and can we talk about how excited I am to start wearing boots again?! Ok, ok, back on topic… I headed to local fave, Round Corner Cantina, who’ll be participating in this event and who’s unique drink will be featuring Hornito’s tequila.

So if you’re local to Pittsburgh and want to try out some seriously creative cocktails, then you have to check out LOCAL on the Rocks. Plus, a portion of the event proceeds will benefit The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and 412 Food Rescue, two charities doing amazing things to fight hunger.

On to the boot topic. I highly recommend the ones I’m wearing here (I have the chestnut suede color). They are waterproof, wide in the calf (so crucial), and most importantly- very comfortable.

You can never go wrong with a simple black dress. I’m loving these affordable options for dresses and hats:
