It all started with these blush velvet pillows. *Get them for the living room* ..I told myself.. I was convinced we could handle velvet pillow covers. My adorable son proved me wrong within the first two weeks of having them! Really, it’s not his fault though because someone thought it was a good idea to allow the consumption of a cinnamon roll on the couch one morning. Bad call on my part. These didn’t have the ease of cleaning that my linen H&M pillow covers have which I was constantly washing and wiping. I tried to spot clean these with a baby wipe and got permanent circles on them! So note to self, try not to decorate with fabric that can’t be cleaned with the stroke of a baby wipe when you have kids in food/play zones. And upstairs these pillows went.
Now, adding a little blush to the bedroom just opened a whole new design element. Of course, I ended up loving how they looked in there so I put away my faux fur pillows and throw (see how that looked here). I’m currently trying to decide between 3 combinations of a pillow and throw that will give the room a fresh spring look. They are laid out below. Basically picture the pillow in the place of where the white faux fur one is now, and then add a throw at the end of the bed. Which would you choose?? I love all of them and cannot pick.
