4 Ways to Give Your Room a Spring Refresh

This post is sponsored by Babbleboxx, however all thoughts and opinions are my own.

There’s nothing quite like springtime to get you in the mood to spruce things up a bit and get on top of spring cleaning. Here are 4 easy ways to give your bedroom a quick spring refresh!

Number One: Start by giving everything a good wipe down, first by moving all decor items off of surfaces and then cleaning all non porous surfaces. Include things like doorknobs, dressers, tables, trays, and remote controls. I used Boulder Clean Disinfecting Wipes, they kill 99.9% of household germs, dirt and allergens. I really like this brand because they are plant based, bleach free, 100% non-toxic and bonus– don’t leave any streaks! Use the code ‘babbleboxx’ to receive 10% off your next Boulder Clean order! (offer valid until June 1, 2021)

Number Two: Add in a new candle, preferably one in a fresh scent like linen. This will literally will make your bedroom smell like ‘clean sheet day’ everyday! I prefer soy candles like the ones from Lulu Candles because they are paraben and cruelty free, and they have one of the longest burn times on the market. This one from Lulu candles (in the fresh linen scent) is a great option with its simple yet stylish design and the scent is JUST enough without being overpowering.

Number Three: Bring in some sort of real plant life. This can be done in numerous ways, like a tree or orchid. I opted for an indoor herb garden starter kit on our windowsill to create an indoor herb garden! These kits are so convenient and come with everything you need including non GMO seeds, starter pots, peat pellets and label sticks. Once these grow big enough I will transplant them to bigger pots and put on our outdoor porch!

Number Four: Change out your pillow inserts! This is something that can get forgotten about but makes such a big difference with your sleep. Our older pillows had seen better days, so I switched them out with Pacific Coast Stayloft Organic Cotton Cover pillows. The thing I really like about these particular pillow inserts is that the organic cover serves as a barrier for dust mites and the cover keeps the shape of the pillow in tact.
