Maybe I should have titled this post Coffee Table Books Anonymous, because I have a slight obsession with wanting to buy all of them. Books aren’t a terrible thing to want to collect though, and coffee table books in particular serve a dual purpose, decoration and reading material. So there’s your justification right there to start a collection if you haven’t already.

Coffee table books are great to use as a base for vases and other decorative objects. In this case, this Oh Joy! Pitcher (your local Target may still have it) and silver dollar eucalyptus (looks great fresh and dried) look perfect sitting atop a pair of black and white books.

I came up with a list of 12 great coffee table books, some that I already own and the rest are on my list to add to my collection. Try stacking a couple of these together for a finishing touch in your home. These also make fantastic gifts if you know some interested in the book’s topic.
