Lately, I’ve been loving bringing out my little white lace dresses and coming up with different ways to wear white lace in winter. When I tried on this shift dress I knew I wanted to winterize it, but a bit differently than the last lace dress I wore for winter (you can see how I styled that winter lace look here).
A shift dress like this looks amazing with a cropped cream sweater layered over top, especially with the pretty detailing on the sleeves peeking out. Another element I can’t get enough of are black tights in winter. How could you not love the contrast with the white details?
When I think about how to wear pieces like white lace in winter, I like to incorporate knits with lots of texture for a less dressy look. Another key element is the layering with opaque black tights, boots and scarves. For a dressier look, you could wear the black tights, black suede pumps, turtleneck underneath and your favorite peacoat. You can find all the items pictured here at the bottom of this post!
